Gianna M. Leonetti
Gianna M. Leonetti is the newest associate at Kominiarek Bresler Harvick & Gudmundson. She started her career at the firm as a Summer Associate, which has equipped her with skills and knowledge necessary to provide clients with a winning defense. Her familial ties to the medical field has created a passion for defending physicians, nurses, and hospitals in the Chicagoland area. “Health Law and Medical Malpractice are arguably the most controversial areas of law today,” Gianna says. “Advocating for medical providers is not only important for upholding the profession as a whole, but it will help better patient healthcare and lower costs for all.”
Although Gianna was born and raised in the Chicago area, and is an avid Chicago sports fan, she went to Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA to obtain her juris doctorate. While in law school, she was the Director of External Affairs for the Student Bar Association and the Director of Media Relations for the Sports and Entertainment Law Association. She was also a member of the National Italian American Bar Association, a member of the Business Law Association, and a team player on the SULS co-ed softball team, having played collegiate softball at Augustana College, her alma mater. In addition, Gianna received the Most Distinguished Brief Award and Honorable Mention for Legal Advocacy Award while in law school.
Gianna’s competitive background and driven spirit brings a determined work ethic to KBHG.
